Independent Housing

Independent housing is for those not interested in our shared housing program. By choosing this route, you will be reaching out to apartment communities directly and on your own accord, and speaking with their leasing team regarding apartment information, pricing, and qualification requirements. Applicants will be applying for their own apartment without the involvement of Compass Rose Student Housing and will sign their own lease directly with the apartment community of their choice. Compass Rose Student Housing does not have any information on pricing or availability and has no involvement or knowledge regarding how applicants will be qualified.

Application process & fees

When completing your application, there is a $180 administration fee required to secure your spot.

The “Secure Your Spot” fee is refundable only if you cancel at least 30 days before your scheduled move-in date.

All application details, fees, and the Secure Your Spot payment must be submitted no later than 30 days before your requested move-in date.

We encourage you to apply early to lock in your housing rate before prices increase!

Application tips: Remember to fill in all sections, especially the ones about you and your housing choices. The more we know, the better we’ll be able to match you with a great place to live, roommates you like, and lease terms to fit your budget.
